Because it embraces everything that is right about Superman comics. Bizarro, Krypto, crazy Sci-Fi, and everything that is fun. That’s the word hat needs to be associated with Superman: FUN!

While I’ve stopped buying DC books, I admit this one sounds fun.

That’ll make it modern and accessible.” — How is this a redesign? I mean, really. How? Hell, I prefer the Electric Superman costume to this ridiculous outfit.

Superman - Superman: Man of Style Finalists | by Ming Doyle » Doyle’s submission to P:R’s Superman Man of Style contest speaks more to my design sensibilities. It feels both futuristic and alien to me.

Doyle also provides matching costumes for both Supergirl and Superboy, which are still better than these.
