As hilarious as this image is… and it is pretty fucking hilarious… it makes me wonder: What the fuck has happened to our Vampires? These fictional creatures of the night used to be… well… MONSTERS! Now? Now they’re sensitive/misunderstood teenagers, brooding businessmen, and soccer mom housefraus. We can relate to them, root for them in their struggles, etc. We should be SCARED TO DEATH OF THEM. Y’know, because we are THEIR FOOD, not their friends. Instead, we have a reality where I can actually believe that Count von Count is a BAMF amongst a sea of sparkling wannabes.
